You can certainly roast your green beans, but I personally prefer these steamed or boiled.
INGREDIENTS
1 Bag of Fresh Green Beans
½ Cup sliced blanched almonds
1 tablespoon Olive oil
1 Tablespoon salted butter
Salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon dried chili flakes
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Lay the sliced almonds on a baking sheet, and drizzle with olive oil, melted butter and salt.
2. Bake in a hot oven until golden brown (about 10 mins – keep watching them!)
3. You can steam, boil or microwave the green beans until soft
4. Place the green beans in your serving bowl and toss in the roasted almonds.
5. Squeeze some fresh lemon over the top
6. Serve hot
